Yes. Modern browsers continue timer logic in background tabs, though screen updates may be throttled. The final time will be correct when you return.

Can I save my lap times?

Lap times are visible during the session. Currently they are not exported, but you can copy them manually.

Does the timer make sound?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a beep plays when the timer reaches zero (browser sound permission required). The page tab also flashes to alert you.

Is this useful for HIIT workouts?

Yes. Use the timer for intervals (e.g. 30 seconds work, 15 seconds rest). For complex multi-round timers, dedicated apps offer more options.

Will it work on my phone?

Yes. The interface adapts to mobile and the timer continues even with the screen locked, as long as the browser is allowed to run.
