About the Punjab Token Tax Calculator 2026-27 (Car, Bike, Filer + EV)
Free Punjab token tax calculator with Finance Bill 2026-27 rates, car, bike, commercial, EV, filer or non-filer, 10% early payment rebate and 75% discount for 10 year old vehicles. Estimates the Motor Vehicle Tax payable to the Punjab Excise and Taxation Department for the current fiscal year. Handles the biggest 2026-27 structural change: cars above 1000cc are now charged as 0.3% of invoice value (1001cc to 2000cc) or 0.4% of invoice value (above 2000cc), instead of the older fixed PKR brackets. Cars up to 1000cc (Suzuki Alto, Mehran, Wagon R) still use the fixed Rs 1,200 annual rate with an optional Rs 20,000 lifetime one-time payment. Motorcycles (Honda 70, CG-125, YBR-125, GS-150) also stayed on the older fixed-rate structure with annual and lifetime options. The tool also computes the FBR Section 234 advance income tax at filer versus non-filer rates (non-filers pay 2x) plus the fixed Rs 200 professional tax. Built for Pakistani private vehicle owners registered in Punjab, motorcycle riders, small business owners running light commercial fleets, and anyone racing the 31 August 2026 deadline for the 10 percent early payment rebate. Electric vehicle owners get the 99 percent concession from Punjab Budget 2026-27 applied automatically.
10% early payment rebate deadline: 58 days left
Pay before 31 August 2026 to save 10% on your Punjab token tax portion. Rebate applies to Excise & Taxation department token tax only, not the FBR Section 234 withholding tax.
Lifetime option available only for cars up to 1000cc.
Punjab Finance Bill 2026-27 charges cars above 1000cc at 0.3% of the invoice value. Use the original invoice / registration value from your vehicle documents.
Non-filers pay 2x on FBR Section 234 advance tax.
0.30% of Rs 2,500,000 invoice value.
FBR Section 234 advance income tax for filers (1001cc to 1300cc): Rs 2,000.
Fixed Professional Tax: Rs 200.
Early payment rebate (paid before 2026-08-31): 10% off token tax portion (Rs 750 off).
Rate source: Finance Bill 2026-27 (effective 1 July 2026) published by the Government of Punjab, cross-verified against Dawn.com, PakWheels and Techjuice coverage. Small-car (≤1000cc), motorcycle and FBR Section 234 rates use the last-published 2025-26 tables where the new Bill did not change them.

How to use the Punjab Token Tax Calculator 2026-27 (Car, Bike, Filer + EV)
- Pick the vehicle type: private car, motorcycle, or commercial vehicle.
- Enter engine capacity in CC (for cars and bikes) or laden capacity in kg (for commercial). Cars above 1000cc will additionally ask for the invoice or registration value because the 2026-27 rate for that bracket is a percentage of invoice value (0.3% for 1001 to 2000cc, 0.4% above 2000cc).
- Choose payment mode. Cars up to 1000cc and all motorcycles support the lifetime one-time payment option instead of the annual token tax. Cars above 1000cc use annual mode only.
- Set filer status for private cars (this only affects the FBR Section 234 advance tax, not the token tax itself). Non-filers pay 2x on Section 234.
- Tick the checkboxes that apply: paying before 31 August 2026 (10% early payment rebate), vehicle 10 or more years old (75% discount on token tax portion), electric vehicle (99% concession per Punjab Budget 2026-27).
- Read the result: full breakdown showing Punjab token tax, FBR Section 234 WHT, professional tax, discounts and rebates, plus the total payable. Verify the exact amount on ePay Punjab by entering your vehicle registration number before paying.
