ECAT UET Aggregate Calculator 2026 (17/50/33 Merit Formula)
UET Lahore ECAT aggregate calculator with the official 17/50/33 formula, reverse target-score estimator, 3-year closing merit table for all programmes and Kala Shah Kaku campus.
About the ECAT UET Aggregate Calculator 2026 (17/50/33 Merit Formula)
Free UET Lahore ECAT (Engineering College Admission Test) aggregate calculator for the 2026 engineering admission cycle. Applies the official UET Lahore weighting: Matric 17 percent + FSc Part-1 50 percent + ECAT 33 percent. This formula is used at UET Lahore Main Campus, Kala Shah Kaku (KSK) Campus, and Rachna College of Engineering and Technology (RCET) Gujranwala for Bachelor of Science in Engineering admissions across Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering and related programmes. Since ECAT admissions run before FSc Part-2 results publish, the FSc input is out of 520 or 505 (Part-1 total, board-dependent) rather than the full 1100. ECAT is out of 400 marks (100 English + 100 Physics + 100 Mathematics + 100 Chemistry) with no negative marking per the current UET admission notification. The calculator returns Matric, FSc Part-1 and ECAT percentages, each component's weighted contribution, and the final aggregate. A built-in target-aggregate estimator tells you the minimum ECAT score needed to hit a specific target (default 82 percent, the practical floor for Software or Electrical at main campus). A 3-year closing merit progression table (2022, 2023, 2024) surfaces indicative cut-offs for the top 7 main-campus programmes plus KSK and RCET reference points so you can benchmark realistically. Note: NUST, GIKI, NED Karachi and FAST NU engineering universities use separate formulas and separate entry tests; use their dedicated calculators for those admissions. UET admission rules can change year to year; always verify against the current cycle prospectus on admission.uet.edu.pk. Final merit lists also factor in reserved seats and district or province quotas outside this calculation. All computation runs client-side, no marks or personal academic data is transmitted or stored.
UET Lahore ECAT formula: Matric 17% + FSc Part-1 50% + ECAT 33%
Used for engineering admission at UET Lahore Main Campus, Kala Shah Kaku (KSK) Campus, and Rachna College of Engineering and Technology (RCET). FSc Part-1 is used because ECAT admissions run before FSc Part-2 results publish, so the total is typically 520 or 505 depending on your board. ECAT is out of 400 marks. Rules can change year to year; always verify the current cycle's prospectus on admission.uet.edu.pk. Some other engineering universities (NUST, NED Karachi, GIKI) use separate formulas covered on their own dedicated pages.
Typically 1100 for Pakistani boards. Some boards use 850 or 1050.
Typically 520 or 505 depending on your board. Punjab boards usually 520.
UET ECAT is out of 400 (100 English + 100 Physics + 100 Math + 100 Chemistry). No negative marking.
Given your Matric and FSc Part-1 percentages, this is the minimum ECAT score needed to hit the target aggregate. Aim for 82% aggregate as the practical floor for Software or Electrical at the main campus.

Kala Shah Kaku (KSK) campus runs 3 to 6 percentage points below main campus for the same programme. RCET Gujranwala runs about 8 to 10 points below. Final merit lists factor in reserved seats and district or province quotas outside this calculation.
NUST and NED Karachi engineering universities use different formulas and separate entry tests. A-Level students must first get HEC equivalence to convert marks to Pakistani FSc scale before applying to UET.
How to use the ECAT UET Aggregate Calculator 2026 (17/50/33 Merit Formula)
- Enter your Matric (SSC) obtained marks and total. Typically 1100 for Pakistani boards; some boards use 850 or 1050.
- Enter your FSc Part-1 (HSSC-I) obtained marks and total. Total is typically 520 for Punjab boards or 505 for some other boards. ECAT admissions run before Part-2 results publish so we use Part-1 only.
- Enter your ECAT score and total (400 default). ECAT has 100 questions each in English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with no negative marking per the current UET notification.
- Read the aggregate breakdown showing your Matric, FSc Part-1 and ECAT percentages plus each component's weighted contribution (17/50/33).
- Use the target-aggregate estimator: enter a target percentage (default 82 percent for competitive programmes) to see the minimum ECAT score needed given your Matric and FSc Part-1 inputs.
- Cross-reference against the 3-year closing merit progression table to identify which UET programmes your current aggregate would qualify for.
