Matric & Inter Aggregate Calculator
Calculate university admission aggregate from your Matric (SSC) and Inter (HSSC) marks using standard Pakistani board and university weightings.
Most public-sector and many private-sector Pakistani universities (UET, NED, NUST, FAST, COMSATS, Punjab University, Karachi University, Quaid-e-Azam, IBA and others) compute admission aggregates as a weighted average of Matric (SSC, Class 9-10) marks, Inter (HSSC, Class 11-12 or FSC) marks, and sometimes a university entry-test score (NTS, ECAT, MDCAT, NUST NET). The Toolsfluent Matric and Inter Aggregate Calculator implements the most common Pakistani aggregation formulas: a 50/50 weighted average for general universities, a 40/60 weighting where Inter is given more weight for FSC programmes, and a custom three-input formula (Matric + Inter + Entry Test) for engineering and medical colleges where the entry test contributes 30 to 50 percent. Pick your formula, enter your marks (and the maximum totals for each), and the calculator gives you the percentage and aggregate score so you can compare against published merit cut-offs at your target university. Useful for FSC, A-level, ICS and Pre-engineering students preparing for university applications, parents trying to estimate where their child stands, and counsellors helping students choose realistic targets.
Pick your target university's formula or use custom for any other weighting.
How to use the Matric & Inter Aggregate Calculator
- Pick a formula: choose 50/50 (Matric + Inter equal weight, used by Punjab University and most general programmes), 40/60 (Inter weighted higher), or custom three-part (Matric + Inter + Entry Test) for MDCAT, ECAT, NUST NET and other engineering/medical universities.
- Enter Matric details: type your obtained Matric (SSC) marks and the total marks (typically 1100 for Pakistan boards, sometimes 850 or 1050 depending on year and stream).
- Enter Inter details: type your obtained Inter (HSSC / FSC / FA) marks and the total marks (typically 1100, sometimes 1200 for Pre-Med Pre-Engineering with extra subjects).
- Enter entry test (if applicable): in three-part mode, add your MDCAT, ECAT, NUST NET or NTS score along with its maximum.
- Read the result: the calculator shows your Matric percentage, Inter percentage, entry-test percentage (if used), and the final aggregate so you can compare against your target university's published merit cut-off.
