About the HBL Car Loan Calculator 2026: CarLoan EMI & Fixed Rate

Free HBL car loan calculator for Pakistan, built on HBL's own published CarLoan terms. HBL is unusual in this market in two ways worth understanding before you compare it against anyone. First, it prices on RELATIONSHIP rather than on KIBOR, and it publishes the actual numbers instead of a spread you have to compute: 15.50 percent if you are new to the bank, 14.50 percent if you already bank with HBL, and 13.50 percent on a repeat CarLoan, which undercuts every conventional bank we cover. Second, the rate is FIXED for the whole tenure, so your instalment does not move when KIBOR does. That is worth real money in a rising-rate year and costs you in a falling one, and it is the opposite of the floating KIBOR-plus-spread structure that Bank AL Habib, MCB, UBL and Bank Alfalah all use. Minimum income is Rs 35,000 a month, the lowest bar among the major banks. Financing covers 70 percent of value, so plan for a 30 percent deposit, and HBL will accept up to 70 percent down if you want to shrink the instalment. Tenure runs 1 to 5 years and used cars up to 5 years old are financed as well as new ones. Processing is a flat Rs 13,000 plus FED, halving to Rs 6,500 plus FED on a repeat CarLoan.

HBL publishes 14.50 percent if you already bank with it. Fixed for the tenure. Banking with HBL before applying is therefore worth a full percentage point, which on Rs 14 lakh over 5 years is roughly Rs 40,000 of markup.

Rs 2,000,000

A Rs 20 lakh car is the usual reference point in Pakistan.

30%

SBP caps financing at 70 percent of value, so 30 percent is the regulatory floor, not the bank being difficult.

5 years

Existing HBL customer runs 1 to 5 years.

HBL finances used cars up to 5 years old as well as new ones, which several competitors will not do at all.

HBL is one of the few Pakistani banks that prices car finance on relationship rather than on KIBOR, and one of the few that publishes the actual numbers instead of a formula. Because the rate is FIXED for the whole tenure, your instalment does not move when KIBOR does, which is worth real money in a rising-rate year and costs you in a falling one. Minimum income is Rs 35,000 a month. Processing: a flat Rs 13,000 plus FED, or Rs 6,500 plus FED if this is a repeat CarLoan. Confirm everything against HBL's own CarLoan page before you sign.

How to use the HBL Car Loan Calculator 2026: CarLoan EMI & Fixed Rate

  1. Pick your relationship tier. HBL publishes three: new to the bank at 15.50 percent, existing customer at 14.50, and repeat CarLoan at 13.50. This is the single biggest lever on the page.
  2. Set the vehicle price. A Rs 20 lakh car is the usual reference point in Pakistan.
  3. Set the down payment. SBP caps financing at 70 percent of value, so 30 percent is the regulatory floor, not HBL being difficult.
  4. Set the tenure, 1 to 5 years.
  5. The markup fills in from HBL's published tier. Override it only if your offer letter says something different.
  6. Watch the SBP cap warning. The Rs 3 million ceiling is aggregate across every bank combined, not per bank.
  7. Compare the total cost of ownership, not just the instalment, because a longer tenure lowers the monthly figure and raises the total.
