About the LESCO Bill Calculator 2026-27 (Slab Warning + TOU + Filer)

Free LESCO bill calculator for Lahore Electric Supply Company residential consumers, built on S.R.O. 279(I)/2026, the applicable variable charges effective February 2026. Handles the three consumer categories: protected (six-month average at or under 200 units, Rs 3.95 and Rs 7.74 on the lifeline tiers, then Rs 10.54 and Rs 13.01, and the only category that gets the benefit of one previous slab), non-protected (six-month average over 200 units, Rs 22.44 rising to Rs 47.20 above 700 units, with NO slab benefit at all, plus a fixed charge of Rs 275 to Rs 675 per kW of sanctioned load), and TOU (Time of Use, voluntary opt-in with dual meter, cheaper off-peak rate Rs 34.53 versus peak Rs 46.85 during 5 PM to 11 PM). The killer feature is a live slab-crossing warning that fires when your current month usage is within 10 units of the next slab boundary, so you can decide whether to unplug the geyser or spare AC for the last few days of the cycle because crossing a boundary reprices the whole month, not just the units above it: 300 units come to about Rs 13,772 and 301 units to about Rs 15,126. The full breakdown includes: slab-by-slab base energy charge, monthly fixed charge, FPA (Fuel Price Adjustment, user-adjustable to match your last bill, typical range Rs -3 to +8 per unit), QTR (Quarterly Tariff Adjustment, user-adjustable), FC surcharge Rs 3.23 per unit, Electricity Duty 1.5 percent of base energy charge, GST 18 percent on pre-tax total, TV fee Rs 35 fixed, and Section 235 non-filer WHT 7.5 percent on bills over Rs 25,000. Built for Punjab households in Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib and Okara serviced by LESCO. All calculations run client-side in your browser and nothing is sent or stored.

Stay under 200 units. Six-month average below 200 unlocks protected status and Rs 14.70 per unit savings on the 51 to 100 slab plus no fixed charge.

Shift heavy loads off-peak. Rs 12.32 per unit gap between peak and off-peak TOU rates. Run washing machine and geyser after 11 PM.

File your FBR return. Non-filers pay 7.5% extra as Section 235 WHT on bills over Rs 25,000. On a Rs 30,000 bill that is Rs 2,250 saved per month by filing.

Rate source and accuracy

Base tariff slabs verified against S.R.O. 279(I)/2026, the applicable variable charges effective February 2026, as published by the DISCOs themselves. Domestic rates are uniform nationwide. NEPRA notifies FPA every month and QTR every quarter, and rates can differ slightly across aggregator sites depending on which cycle they cite.

Get pinpoint accuracy: read the exact FPA and QTR values from your current LESCO bill and enter them above. That gives a number within Rs 100 of the actual bill in almost all cases. If your bill shows a different base per-unit rate than the calculator uses, the NEPRA cycle has shifted; verify at the NEPRA LESCO tariff page. This is an estimate tool. Actual bills may vary due to arrears, adjustments, meter reading errors and cycle-specific NEPRA notifications.

How to use the LESCO Bill Calculator 2026-27 (Slab Warning + TOU + Filer)

  1. Pick your consumer type: Protected if your six-month average consumption is 200 units or less, Non-protected if higher, or TOU if you have opted into the Time of Use dual-meter tariff.
  2. Enter the units consumed this month, read directly from the LESCO bill (usually labelled Units Consumed or kWh). For TOU, enter peak and off-peak units separately.
  3. Set filer status. Non-filers pay a 7.5 percent Section 235 withholding tax on bills over Rs 25,000; filers do not. Filing your FBR return saves this amount every month.
  4. Adjust FPA and QTR to match the exact per-unit values on your current bill. Defaults are conservative mid-cycle values but NEPRA updates FPA monthly and QTR quarterly.
  5. Read the result. The primary card shows the total payable and effective per-unit rate. Slab-by-slab breakdown table shows exactly which rate applied to which portion of your consumption. Watch for the red slab-crossing warning if your usage is close to the next slab boundary.
  6. Verify against your LESCO bill. Actual bills may vary due to arrears, adjustments, meter reading errors and cycle-specific NEPRA notifications. Confirm the exact number on your official bill or the NEPRA LESCO tariff page before disputing any charges.
