EasyPaisa Charges 2026 Pakistan: Full Fee Schedule + Free IBFT

EasyPaisa is Pakistan's oldest and largest mobile wallet, operated by EasyPaisa Bank Ltd (formerly Telenor Microfinance Bank) under State Bank of Pakistan branchless banking licence. Monthly transaction volumes cross 400 million and every one of those transactions is priced by the Schedule of Bank Charges (SOC) that EasyPaisa publishes quarterly. This guide is the complete Jul-Sep 2026 EasyPaisa fee schedule broken down by transaction type, with worked examples on the amounts Pakistanis actually transfer.

Run any specific fee scenario in our EasyPaisa vs JazzCash Fee Calculator as you read. For head-to-head decisions, see the full EasyPaisa vs JazzCash Fees 2026 comparison.

Important upfront: fees change quarterly. Every number here is from EasyPaisa's official Jul-Sep 2026 Schedule of Bank Charges (Branchless Banking) PDF verified July 2026. If a fee looks different on your app screen, the app value is the source of truth; the SOC PDF is updated within 24-48 hours of a fee change.

The 2 Percent Charge: Push Is Free, Pulling Costs 2 Percent

In August 2026 a claim spread that EasyPaisa had started charging 2 percent on money moved from a bank account into a wallet. EasyPaisa denied it. Both sides were quoting a real EasyPaisa document, because EasyPaisa publishes two schedules of charges and they disagree on this exact row: the Branchless Banking schedule says funds transfer IN from other bank accounts is free, while the Retail Banking schedule prints 2 percent incl. tax for pulling funds in from a bank account through Account Linking, and 3 percent from a debit or credit card.

The practical rule: push from your bank's app and pay nothing. Pull from inside the EasyPaisa app and pay 2 percent, or 3 percent from a card. On Rs 10,000 that is Rs 0 against Rs 200 or Rs 300.

1. EasyPaisa Cash Withdrawal Fees (SBP-Regulated Slab)

Cash withdrawal from an EasyPaisa agent follows the State Bank of Pakistan branchless banking 15-tier slab, identical across EasyPaisa, JazzCash, UPaisa and all licensed BB providers. As of Jul-Sep 2026:

Amount Tier (PKR)EasyPaisa Fee (PKR)
1 to 2007
201 to 50012
501 to 1,00020
1,001 to 2,50040
2,501 to 4,00070
4,001 to 6,000100
6,001 to 8,000130
8,001 to 10,000180
10,001 to 13,000230
13,001 to 16,000280
16,001 to 20,000330
20,001 to 25,000380
25,001 to 30,000470
30,001 to 40,000560
40,001 to 50,000690

Effective rate observations:

  • Rs 10,000 withdrawal: Rs 180 fee equals 1.8 percent
  • Rs 25,000 withdrawal: Rs 380 fee equals 1.52 percent
  • Rs 50,000 withdrawal: Rs 690 fee equals 1.38 percent

Consolidation tip: two Rs 25,000 withdrawals cost Rs 760 combined, while one Rs 50,000 withdrawal costs Rs 690, saving Rs 70. Across a year of cash management, planning fewer larger trips saves Rs 800 to Rs 1,500 depending on withdrawal frequency.

EasyPaisa Digital Account Branch Cash Windows (FREE)

Per the Jul-Sep 2026 SOC, EasyPaisa Digital Account holders can deposit and withdraw cash completely free at any EasyPaisa Bank Ltd branch counter (not the agent locations). This is a benefit not available at agent locations. If you live near an EasyPaisa branch, use branch withdrawal to sidestep the agent-tier fees entirely.

2. EasyPaisa Send Money Fees

2a. Wallet to Wallet Transfer: FREE

Sending EasyPaisa to another EasyPaisa mobile account is completely free regardless of amount. No monthly cap, no per-transaction fee, no FED. Send Rs 100 or Rs 25,000, pay zero. Recipient sees the credit within seconds. This is the cheapest way to move money to any recipient who has EasyPaisa installed.

2b. EasyPaisa to CNIC (Recipient Collects from Agent)

For senders whose recipient does not have a mobile account, EasyPaisa-to-CNIC lets you transfer against the recipient's CNIC. The recipient collects cash from any EasyPaisa agent nationwide:

Amount Tier (PKR)EasyPaisa to CNIC Fee
1 to 1,00055
1,001 to 2,500110
2,501 to 4,000160
4,001 to 6,000215
6,001 to 8,000270
8,001 to 10,000320
10,001 to 13,000375
13,001 to 15,000430
15,001 to 20,000500
20,001 to 25,000600

The top tier Rs 20,001-25,000 is Rs 50 cheaper than JazzCash (Rs 650). Small saving per transaction, but for someone sending Rs 25,000 to a family member monthly, that is Rs 600 per year.

2c. OTC (Over The Counter) Send Money

EasyPaisa publishes a separate OTC tier for walk-in non-customer senders at an agent. Higher than the account-based CNIC rate. Top tier (Rs 20,001-25,000): approximately Rs 800. Use your own EasyPaisa account instead whenever possible to save this premium.

2d. EasyPaisa to JazzCash (Cross-Wallet Transfer)

Sending money from your EasyPaisa Mobile Account to a JazzCash wallet requires an IBFT through the 1-Link interbank rails, since EasyPaisa and JazzCash are separate microfinance banks (EasyPaisa Bank Ltd. vs Mobilink Microfinance Bank). Two working methods:

Method 1: IBFT to the recipient's JazzCash-linked bank account or Business Account IBAN. Standard IBFT flow from your EasyPaisa app. Cost on EasyPaisa Mobile Account: Rs 0 service fee (free with no cap) plus small 1-Link processing fee (Rs 1.55 for transactions under Rs 25,000). Delivery is instant to seconds. This is the cheapest and fastest cross-wallet method.

Method 2: Send to recipient's CNIC, they collect from EasyPaisa agent, re-deposit into JazzCash. For a recipient without a linked bank IBAN, use the CNIC send money flow (tier fees Rs 55 to Rs 600 depending on amount). Slower since the recipient must physically collect cash then deposit into their JazzCash account separately.

Practical Method 1 costs for the most common cross-wallet amounts:

Transfer AmountTotal Cost (EasyPaisa side)
Rs 1,000Rs 1.55 (1-Link fee)
Rs 5,000Rs 1.55
Rs 10,000Rs 1.55
Rs 25,000approximately Rs 5 (0.02 percent 1-Link)
Rs 50,000approximately Rs 10 (0.02 percent)
Rs 100,000approximately Rs 20 (0.02 percent)

EasyPaisa is the cheaper direction for cross-wallet transfers thanks to the uncapped free IBFT service fee. Going the other way (JazzCash to EasyPaisa) costs 0.1 percent or Rs 200 (whichever lower) on JazzCash consumer M-Wallet once the Rs 25,000 monthly free quota is used up, so the same Rs 50,000 transfer would cost approximately Rs 50 on JazzCash side after quota exhaustion versus Rs 10 on EasyPaisa side.

3. EasyPaisa Mobile Account IBFT to Bank Account: FREE Service Fee, No Cap

This is EasyPaisa Mobile Account's biggest structural advantage over JazzCash consumer M-Wallet. Per the Jul-Sep 2026 SOC page 1:

"Transfer-out from easypaisa to Bank: Free"

No monthly cap on the EasyPaisa service fee. Transfer Rs 10,000 or Rs 500,000 in a single calendar month, the service fee remains zero.

Small 1-Link Service Fee (SBP-mandated): applied on all IBFT transactions per 1-Link SOC:

  • Below Rs 25,000 per transaction: Rs 1.55 per transaction (negligible)
  • Between Rs 25,000 and Rs 200,000 per transaction: 0.02 percent per transaction
  • Above Rs 200,000 per transaction: Rs 40 per transaction

This is a small network processing fee, not a service charge, and applies at both EasyPaisa and JazzCash per the 1-Link infrastructure notes in both SOCs.

Worked example. Salary day, you receive Rs 100,000 in EasyPaisa Mobile Account and want to move it to your HBL account:

  • Single Rs 100,000 transfer: Rs 0 service fee plus 0.02 percent 1-Link fee equals Rs 20 total

Same scenario on JazzCash consumer M-Wallet (post the Q3 2026 SOC):

  • First Rs 25,000 free (monthly quota)
  • Second Rs 75,000: 0.1 percent equals Rs 75, or Rs 200 cap, Rs 75 applies
  • JazzCash total: Rs 75 (plus small 1-Link fee)

EasyPaisa saves roughly Rs 55 on this one salary transfer. For someone transferring Rs 100k+ monthly, that is Rs 600 to Rs 900 per year. For a small business owner transferring Rs 500k across 3 vendor payments, JazzCash consumer M-Wallet would charge Rs 200 x 3 equals Rs 600 in service fees while EasyPaisa Mobile Account service fees remain zero (1-Link fees still apply on both).

Practical implication: for anyone regularly transferring salary, rent or vendor payments to bank accounts, EasyPaisa Mobile Account is structurally cheaper. Compare specific amounts in the Fee Calculator. Note: JazzCash Business Account users get a higher Rs 50,000 monthly IBFT free quota, which closes some of this gap for merchants.

EasyPaisa Quick Reference: Common Amounts, Total Cost

For the exact rupee amounts Pakistani users search most often, here is a fee snapshot combining cash withdrawal, CNIC send money, wallet-to-wallet and IBFT-to-bank at each common transaction size:

AmountCash WithdrawalSend to CNICWallet to WalletIBFT to Bank
Rs 500Rs 12Rs 55FreeFree (plus Rs 1.55 1-Link)
Rs 1,000Rs 20Rs 55FreeFree (plus Rs 1.55)

Rs 5,000Rs 100Rs 215FreeFree (plus Rs 1.55)
Rs 10,000Rs 180Rs 320FreeFree (plus Rs 1.55)
Rs 15,000Rs 280Rs 430FreeFree (plus Rs 1.55)
Rs 20,000Rs 330Rs 500FreeFree (plus Rs 1.55)
Rs 25,000Rs 380Rs 600Freeapproximately Rs 5 (0.02 percent)
Rs 50,000Rs 690Split needed (CNIC Rs 25k cap)Freeapproximately Rs 10 (0.02 percent)
Rs 100,000Split needed (withdrawal Rs 50k cap)Split neededFreeapproximately Rs 20 (0.02 percent)

Rs 25,000 is the CNIC single-transaction cap, Rs 50,000 is the cash withdrawal per-transaction cap. For amounts above these, split into multiple transactions or use IBFT to bank / wallet-to-wallet transfer instead, which have no such caps.

4. EasyPaisa Bill Payment Fees (First 3 Free)

EasyPaisa's bill payment pricing rewards typical Pakistani household usage:

Bill Number This MonthEasyPaisa Fee
Bill 1 to 3FREE
Bill 4 to 9Rs 20 each
Bill 10 and aboveRs 30 each

Typical Pakistani household paying 3 monthly bills (electricity, gas, internet or mobile): Rs 0 per month, Rs 0 per year. JazzCash charges Rs 5 each for these 3 bills, totalling Rs 15 per month or Rs 180 per year. EasyPaisa saves the full Rs 180.

Bills accepted: WAPDA (LESCO, K-Electric, IESCO, MEPCO, GEPCO, HESCO, FESCO, SEPCO, PESCO, QESCO, TESCO), SNGPL and SSGC gas, PTCL, mobile postpaid on all 5 networks (Jazz, Zong, Ufone, Telenor, SCOM), Nayatel, Storm Fiber and most private ISPs, PIA and airline top-ups (as of Jul-Sep 2026).

For your own LESCO bill split by slab and Section 235 filer WHT applied, use our LESCO Bill Calculator.

5. EasyPaisa Mobile Load Fair Usage Pricing

EasyPaisa applies a Fair Usage Pricing (FUP) model for mobile load top-ups per the Jul-Sep 2026 SOC, casual users pay nothing:

Top-up Number This MonthEasyPaisa Fee
Top-up 1 to 5FREE
Top-up 6 to 10Rs 2 each
Top-up 11 to 15Rs 6 each
Top-up 16 to 20Rs 7 each
Top-up 21 and aboveRs 10 each

Mobile Packages follow a similar 5-free FUP: Rs 1 for top-ups 6-10, Rs 3 for 11-15, Rs 4 for 16-20, Rs 5 for 21-plus. M-Tag Top Up is a flat Rs 10 per top-up.

Family members recharging their own mobile stay at zero fee. Users buying mobile load for extended family or friends should batch top-ups to stay under the 5-per-month free quota. JazzCash does not publish a matching free quota for mobile load, so heavy top-up users see EasyPaisa cheaper.

6. EasyPaisa ATM Withdrawal Fees

Flat Rs 35 on any ATM withdrawal, whatever the amount, per the schedule wording: "Service fee on any ATM withdrawal amount will be Rs. 35 (Incl. Tax & 1-link Charges)". And free at easypaisa Bank Ltd branch ATMs, a line most people never see.

Because the ATM fee is flat while agent withdrawal is a slab, the crossover is Rs 1,000, not Rs 4,000: at the Rs 1,001 to 2,500 tier an agent charges Rs 40 against the ATM's Rs 35. Above Rs 1,000 the ATM always wins, and at Rs 50,000 it is Rs 35 against Rs 690, a saving of Rs 655 on one withdrawal.

Card costs are not free, contrary to what is often assumed: issuance is Rs 1,000 for the VISA or PayPak card, Rs 999 for Union Pay and Rs 500 for the Visa Online card, with replacement at Rs 500 per card. Balance inquiry and receipt printing are Rs 4.67 each.

7. EasyPaisa Digital Account Benefits

EasyPaisa Digital Account is the flagship product and unlocks several fee advantages absent from a basic wallet:

  • Free cash deposit and withdrawal at EasyPaisa Bank Ltd branches (not agent locations)
  • Free PayPak or MasterCard debit card with instant issuance
  • Higher daily and monthly transaction limits than basic wallet
  • Full IBAN for salary transfers and receiving international remittances
  • Savings account tier with profit rates competitive with commercial banks
  • Free chequebook option for larger transactions

Digital Account opening is instant and free through the EasyPaisa app, requires only CNIC and biometric verification. Existing wallet users can upgrade in 5 minutes.

8. EasyPaisa Inactive Account Policy

The current Jul-Sep 2026 EasyPaisa Branchless Banking SOC PDF does not explicitly list a Mobile Account inactive-account fee schedule. This is different from JazzCash which publishes a specific Rs 100 per month charge after 12 months of no activity (Note 10 of JazzCash Q3 2026 SOC).

Recommended practice: log at least one transaction (a free mobile load or bill payment) per calendar year to keep the account fully active regardless of any latent dormancy rules. If your account has been inactive for over 12 months, contact EasyPaisa Bank Ltd support before checking your balance to verify current policy:

  • Helpline: 3737 from Telenor Network
  • UAN: 042-111-003-737 from any operator

Retail Banking (non-branchless) EasyPaisa accounts have separate dormancy rules per the Retail Banking SOC PDF, verify those separately if your account is a full Bank Ltd retail account rather than a Mobile Account wallet.

JazzCash is the right pick when: - Recipient has JazzCash installed but not EasyPaisa (free wallet-to-wallet) - Small monthly bank transfers only (under Rs 25k stays service-fee-free on both) - You are a Business Account or merchant user (Rs 50k IBFT + Rs 50k ATM free quotas)
