EasyPaisa & JazzCash Charges on Rs 1,000 to Rs 50,000: Every Amount

People search this with an exact amount in mind, so here is the exact answer, for both wallets at once. EasyPaisa and JazzCash charge identical withdrawal fees, because the agent slab is set by the SBP branchless banking schedule and the ATM fee is a 1-Link network charge. Both figures below are read from each provider's own current schedule, valid July to September 2026.

Withdrawal charges on every amount

AmountAgent (cash out)ATMCheaper option
Rs 1,000Rs 20Rs 35Agent, saves Rs 15
Rs 2,000Rs 40Rs 35ATM, saves Rs 5
Rs 5,000Rs 100Rs 35ATM, saves Rs 65
Rs 10,000Rs 180Rs 35ATM, saves Rs 145
Rs 15,000Rs 280Rs 35ATM, saves Rs 245
Rs 20,000Rs 330Rs 35ATM, saves Rs 295
Rs 25,000Rs 380Rs 35ATM, saves Rs 345
Rs 30,000Rs 470Rs 35ATM, saves Rs 435
Rs 40,000Rs 560Rs 35ATM, saves Rs 525
Rs 50,000Rs 690Rs 35ATM, saves Rs 655
Rs 70,000*Rs 1,020Rs 70ATM, saves Rs 950
Rs 1 lakh*Rs 1,380Rs 70ATM, saves Rs 1,310

*Amounts above Rs 50,000 need more than one transaction, because Rs 50,000 is the per-transaction cash-out cap. Rs 70,000 means a Rs 50,000 withdrawal plus a Rs 20,000 withdrawal, and the fees add up accordingly.

Three things the table shows that surprise people:

  • Rs 1,000 is the only amount where the agent wins. From Rs 2,001 up, the ATM is always cheaper, and the gap grows to Rs 655 on a single Rs 50,000 withdrawal.
  • The agent fee is effectively about 1.4 to 2 percent of the amount. On Rs 10,000 the Rs 180 agent fee is 1.8 percent, against 0.35 percent at an ATM.
  • Consolidating saves real money. Two Rs 25,000 agent withdrawals cost Rs 760; one Rs 50,000 withdrawal costs Rs 690. At the ATM the same consolidation halves Rs 70 to Rs 35.

The answers to the exact questions people ask

EasyPaisa charges on Rs 10,000: Rs 180 at an agent, Rs 35 at any ATM. Identical on JazzCash.

EasyPaisa charges on Rs 50,000: Rs 690 at an agent, Rs 35 at an ATM. Identical on JazzCash. This is the single most expensive habit in the table: at an agent you hand over 1.38 percent of your money.

EasyPaisa withdrawal charges on Rs 1,000: Rs 20 at an agent, Rs 35 at an ATM. The one case where the agent is the right answer.

EasyPaisa charges on Rs 70,000: two withdrawals are needed. Agent: Rs 1,020. ATM: Rs 70. If the money's destination is another account rather than your pocket, read the next section first, because transferring it may cost nothing.

Before you withdraw: the free routes

Withdrawal is often the wrong tool. From the same schedules:

  • Wallet to wallet transfer: free on both, and EasyPaisa to JazzCash or the reverse also works.
  • EasyPaisa to any bank account (IBFT): free service fee with no cap, plus only the 1-Link processing fee of Rs 1.55 below Rs 25,000 and 0.02 percent above it. Rs 100,000 moved to your bank costs about Rs 20.
  • JazzCash to any bank account: free up to Rs 25,000 a month, then 0.1 percent or Rs 200, whichever is lower.

So the Rs 70,000 question usually answers itself: transfer it to your bank for roughly nothing and use your bank card, instead of paying even the Rs 70 ATM route.

Is there tax on EasyPaisa or JazzCash withdrawals?

The fees above are service charges, printed inclusive of tax, not a separate tax deduction. Neither schedule lists an income tax withholding line on wallet cash-outs. The separate 0.6 percent advance tax on cash withdrawals applies to non-filers withdrawing above Rs 50,000 in a day from a bank, which the Rs 50,000 per-transaction wallet cap makes rare in practice; if you hold meaningful balances and are not a filer, the filer vs non-filer comparison shows what filing saves across every transaction type.

Where these numbers come from and when they expire

EasyPaisa figures are from EasyPaisa's Schedule of Bank Charges, Branchless Banking, valid July to September 2026. JazzCash figures are from the Branchless Banking Schedule of Charges circular issued by Mobilink Microfinance Bank on 30 June 2026, effective 1 July to 30 September 2026. Both schedules therefore expire on 30 September 2026, and the fourth quarter documents can change any figure here.
